As you walk through the cinnamon plantation you will be able to learn first-hand how the southern province of Sri Lanka earns its name for producing the best cinnamon in the world.
Next, head back to Villa Kurundu where you can watch the cinnamon being peeled and even have an opportunity to partake in the peeling yourself. The unique technique of cinnamon peeling and oil extracting has been pass down in generations and is a valued trade. Later, indulge yourself in a Cinnamon infused lunch made especially for you!
