Richest in Flavour- Sri Lanka Cuisine is irreplaceable, it is like no other. Comprised with delicate spice blends and the use of cinnamon, black pepper and herbs make it appetizing. The cuisine is prominently centered around many varieties of rice which denotes cultural richness. If you want to try out a happy, warm, scrumptious meal, the choice is definitely the local cuisine characterized by aromatic spices and vibrant traditions.

Experience description: This appetizing journey begins with local chefs who will pick you up early bright and take you to the local markets where you will get an introduction to versatile spices. Thereafter, we make our way to the serene hamlet in Galle to begin cooking. surrounded by emerald green paddies and with an open-air dining area, The Paddy Island serves as our culinary hotspot.

You will get an opportunity to scrape coconuts in the traditional manner and to learn the secrets of making popular curries and seasonal vegetables. Once, the cooking is finished a leisurely lunch is served in the dining area with panoramic views over the rice paddy. Afterwards you can lounge around and enjoy the views of the rice fields surrounded with Bird Life.
