This expansive lake is surrounded by mangroves and is ideal for spotting birds and other wildlife. You can paddle through tranquil waters and explore small islands. Located a bit further from Galle, this river features a rich ecosystem. You can navigate through the mangroves and witness local fishing communities which gives you a glimpse of local life, rice paddies, and agriculture.
